Early Childhood Educator in Grimsby, Ontario

I have been baby-sitting children varing between the ages of 3 months to 12 years since 1999. In grade 9 I did volunteer work at the Burlington Art Centre where I worked with three different age groups (10-12 years old, 6-8 years old, 4-6 year olds. I did a grade 11 co-op position in a junior and senior kindergarten room and a grade 12 co-op position at a day care in the toddler room. For my first college placement, I was placed at a day care in a preschool room. For my second college placement, I was working in a day care with 2-3 year olds, and for my third and final placement, I was working in a toddler room. From April 2006-August 2006, I worked as a supply teacher in a toddler and preschool room. I worked at Birdland Children's Centre from June 2007-October 2012. While there I worked in the preschool class, kindergarten class and sr. toddler class. I am currently employed at Wee Care Educational Services where I work in the Sr. Preschool class. While working in a kindergarten classroom, I worked with a low-functioning autistic child. I am currently working with two integrated, undiagnosed children
