Early Childhood Educator in Richmond Hill, Ontario

Dear Sir/Madam I am applying for the position of an Early Childcare Assistant. I have completed the Early Childhood Assistant Education program with honours. I have over 13 years of work experience within a home care setting and 3 years in childcare centers’, providing quality care to children age’s birth to age 6. I have strong skills in How Does Learning Happen and E.L.E.C.T program, organization, observations, both written and verbal. I have a Food Handlers certificate. I have planned and prepared healthy meals, as well as ensured that dietary needs were met. I have provided a calm, stimulated and safe environment for children to engage in various forms of opportunities including; hands-on sensory activities, mathematical exercises, language and literacy activities, field trips relating to topics introduced weekly, musically oriented games and activities, etc. I have established routines, as well as free play by listening and considering children’s interests, parents’ requests with positive attitude and provided empowering guidance to build children’s self-esteem. I am a supportive person and very patient with children and adults. I am well organized; I work well as a team leader, efficiently and in a timely manner. I adapt easily in high stress situations and am able to make adjustments so that the work is done correctly.
