Early Childhood Educator in Toronto, Ontario

I have obtained graduate status from Ryerson University with a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Studies and am a registered member of the College of ECE. The variety of intensive courses and hands on experiences in this program have helped to equip me with the knowledge and skills needed to work with young children and foster their learning and development. I have been working in the field for over 8 years and have experience with children aged 0 to 12 years of age. I have been responsible for planning and implementing developmentally appropriate experiences and learning opportunities for children ages 0-12, in a variety of educational settings. I am a positive, creative and enthusiastic individual that is very much looking forward to becoming a member of a team where I can grow as a professional. I have followed the philosophy of Emergent Curriculum, and at present, the Early Learning for Every Child Today model. I am also familiar How Does Learning Happen and have working knowledge of the Child Care Early Years Act and Assessment for Quality Improvement standards. I am confident that my core knowledge and practical experiences along with my passion for and dedication to young children and their development will be an asset to any classroom setting.
