Early Childhood Educator in Mississauga, Ontario

Greetings! My name is Faizah Awan and I am an Early Childcare Provider, with an Early Childcare Assistant Diploma from the Canadian Business College. I successfully completed my placements at Active Kids Daycare as well as Alpha Preschool and Daycare, where I worked alongside infants as well as preschoolers. By providing developmentally appropriate activities for the children, we helped develop all 3 developmental domains, including cognitive, social and emotional as well as physical. I believe that the childcare profession is an extremely important field. It is known to be an extremely satisfying and rewarding profession as it helps to contribute to society. Children are the foundation of the future and learning at a young age is important for them to excel in their adulthood. As an educator, I will play a vital role in the lives of these children, as I assist them and help them develop the skills they need to be successful in their lives. I will be able to help them reach their full potential. Not only that, before I start my journey on having my own family, I want to learn more about the milestones of children and want to educate myself on how they develop. Additionally, I love to observe children and watch how each of them tackle activities and struggles of their daily life, based on their unique attitude and outlook. Each child is special and becoming a part of the process of their interaction and development would be a great opportunity.
