Teaching experiences with a students have given me a fair understanding of what teaching needs to be in school or in general community atmosphere. The formal education is imperative to students to inculcate the discipline in them and the science, mathematics and technology as taught in schools. Having said that the informal education imparted in community atmosphere, like a library being a huge part played in shaping a community, so does the community center offering various indoor, outdoor sports, auditoriums for audio visual programs of the community where each and every member of the community is benefited. The process of learning never ends. Even when you turn 60, you still learn something or the other everyday. Everyday is a new experience. Similarly, experience while spending time with children has given me new knowledge of understanding; and I will continue learning something new every day from every single kid. Children are a gift of life. Experience with children and adolescents have given me an idea of how to handle and take care of them. Learning process is not very different between school, community setting, house or a day care centre. Every educational board in every city/country does have a set academic curriculum for students and this is updated depending on how vigilant are the academicians and board executives, but the personal input of a teacher is unique. Teachers personality, educational, social, personal background does make massive impact on how effective the teacher is going to be in imparting the positive image in the students. My experience with children in the Montessori environment has been very enriching as i learn something new each day. The practical hands on experience is an eye opener when you see the children doing activities and exploring something you never thought a child might do. With my Montessori course I have gained a lot of knowledge and information about child development and how we as an adult or a teacher affect the child and his natural development. Working with Children with special needs has opened up a whole new world for me. At first it was all new but after working with them i see they are just as normal as every other child. They just need extra love and care which comes from my heart for them as well as every other child i guide. Completing my ECE is not just a qualification but another path that i took to reach children and guide them in the best possible way. Here I gained more theoretical knowledge of the anatomy of the young humans that are under our care. As a teacher and as a parent I see as my responsibility to instill good values, morals, behavior not only in my son but in every child I teach, as it is best to mold at the tender age.
