Job Description The Assistant Director’s job will consist of two parts, operations, and childcare. The Assistant Director will be hired by the Owner and Director of Operations to assist in the execution of Academy policy concerning admissions, operations, and programs. Under the direction and supervision of the Director, the Assistant Director is responsible for assisting in the coordination, supervision, and implementation of all aspects of the operation of the Academy. When the Director is absent it will be the sole responsibility of the Assistant Director to perform these tasks. The Assistant Director will also be responsible for the care, instruction and supervision of children infant to preschool age, under the direct supervision of the Director. The Assistant Director is responsible for the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the program. The Assistant Director is also required to perform other related tasks and duties assigned by the company. The Assistant Director position is required to perform some physical lifting of children and movement of equipment such as toys, cribs, sleeping cots, etc. The Assistant Director may also be required to be in the classroom for ratio. Salary will be based on experience.
