Early Childhood Educator Job in Ottawa, Ontario

Reporting to the Founding Principal, the Director acts as an integral member of the VINCI School Ottawa Community who is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the school through conscientious application of the VINCI School standards to achieve our Mission Statement. Essential Function • Responsible for the overall operation of the school which includes staffing, staff management, parent tours/orientation/relationship, student achievement, and the profitability of the business. • Working alongside the Office Administrator managing budget and enrollment projections • Mentoring, motivating, providing guidance to the school’s educators and staff • Maintaining positive community relations • Administrative duties (responding to emails, newsletters, review report cards, etc.) • Ensuring the quality of programming to meet the VINCI standards Qualifications • Must be in good standing with the Ontario College of Early Childhood Educators • A minimum of 5 years experience working as an ECE in a Licensed Childcare Setting. Montessori experience would be a HUGE plus! • Current First Aid and CPR certification • No longer than a 6-month-old Criminal Record Check • Knowledge of the CCEYA and How Does Learning Happen • A solid foundation of the licensing knowledge and provincial childcare legislation • Supervisory experience Salary • $25 an hour plus provincial and Ottawa city's wage enhancement- Salary is dependent on education and experience Benefits • Dental • Health and Wellness (chiropractor, osteopath, massage, etc.) • Medications • Life and travel insurance
