The University Childcare Centre Main Campus location is a licensed non-profit childcare centre with children aged 3 months to Kindergarten age. We are a dynamic group of educators that are passionate about the FLIGHT framework. At the University Child Care Centre (UCCC), we believe that play is imperative during the early years of a child's life. The need to imagine, create, explore and discover is at the core of a child and teaches them to relate to others and the world around them. Our goal is to provide an exemplary, inclusive program that supports and encourages the unique potential within each child. We do this by promoting the natural process of play in an enriched setting that provides optimal conditions for each child to grow, develop, and learn at his or her individual pace. Visit our website to see a virtual tour! We are currently seeking the following; - Infant Primary Educator (Ideally Level 3 but possibly a strong Level 2) - Relief and On-call Educators. (Please note that Full-Time positions are typically posted internally and filled from our Relief and On-call Educators). (Level 1, 2 or 3) Qualifications: - Alberta Childcare Qualification - Current First Aid Certification (Child CPR) - Current Police Check (within 6 months or willing to obtain) - Family and Social Services Intervention Check (will apply on hire) - Familiarity with Flight Framework and GRIT (ASaP Project) an asset The University Child Care Centre offers the following for all positions; - 3 paid professional days per year - Support of an in house Pedagogical Partner to support our Flight journey The University Child Care Centre offers the following for all salary positions; - Benefits - Vacation days (2-4 weeks per year based on years of service) - 10 paid sick days per year - Personal days based on years of service
