Thistleoaks is a childcare centre located in downtown Oakville (Kerr and Bond St) that supports community families with care for children from 6 weeks to 6 years old. Thistleoaks educators develop and implement programs that draw from Reggio Emilia, How Does Learning Happen, and Emergent Learning philosophies to create engaging and developmentally rich programs. Located on a sizable property with large, natural outdoor playscapes, Thistleoaks works to bring the natural world indoors and programming outdoors.
