New Covenant Presbyterian Weekday School, a Christian Montessori Preschool located in Mandeville, LA is currently looking to hire a talented Christian teacher for its 2-3 year old class. Seeking Christian, enthusiastic, energetic, and flexible team-players. Job Details The 2-3 year old teacher is responsible for creating a warm, nurturing learning environment for children. Daily responsibilities include planning activities and supervising play to ensure safety and aid in the development of all children, demonstrating a positive attitude when working with children, parents, and co-workers, and maintaining accurate records. Physical requirements: Must be able to lift and carry young children; must be able to work outside in different types of weather to supervise children in the yard; must be able to sit and work on the floor during daily routines. Prefer candidates with a college degree in early childhood education or a related field, with preference given to those with Montessori certification or teaching experience.
