Early Childhood Educator Job in Vaughan, Ontario

Supervisor *2 years of experience working as a Supervisor and is a RECE • Trained in First Aid and Infant CPR, Up to date Vulnerable Sector Screening, Registered Member of College of ECE and has online training with WSIB. Would be beneficial to have Food Handlers Certificate • Punctual and reliable at all times • Able to create work schedule for staff • ALWAYS hands on in classrooms and able to assist teachers if needed • Is able to put educational input in while program planning in conjunction with ECEs to ensure activities are appropriate and promoting developmental growth • Able to communicate respectfully with families and staff members at ALL TIMES • Has attended How Does Learning Happen Seminars and is familiar with the approach • Has knowledge and understanding of the Childcare and Early Learning Act • Ensures that all daily routines and procedures are being followed at all times (Daily written records, attendance, checklists etc.) • Is able to plan activities using loose parts and open ended materials to foster children’s creativity • Is always able to maintain the daycare up to Ministry of Education standards • Have the ability to research and continue on the journey of learning • Would be a plus if another language other than English is spoken • Would be a plus if able to sing or play musical instrument All other requirements will be discussed during interviews
