Rec Room Childcare is looking for highly motivated, enthusiastic, playful, and skilled Registered Early Childhood Educators OR Child and Youth Workers OR Parks & Rec Leaders (Certified) to fill full/part time positions. Rec Room welcomes individuals who is looking to further their career within the establishment. Start date: September 7, 2021 Centre operation: All year. 5 days a week. Closed on stat holidays. Rate: $21.00 base $2.00 PWE/hr benefits Applying individuals must have all the necessary qualifications as required by the Ministry of Education and have a strong knowledge/experience working with the ELECT and pedagogy “HDLH?”. Duty entails planning and implementing programs, and supervising a group of kindergarteners OR school-agers (we will place you where you feel you can maximize your talents and skills!). Rec Room is unique in the sense that its school-age program takes place in a recreational setting that involves children choosing their own activities from different themed rooms (e.g. gym-the sports room, games room, theatre/music/dance room, construction room, art room, etc.). Children perform for each other, create and run their own clubs, and contribute their ideas for programming!
