Early Childhood Educator Job in Toronto, Ontario

We are a full-service childcare academy for children 10 months to 4 years of age, committed to providing optimal care, in a safe and caring environment for children, parents, staff, students, and volunteers. We work together to make everyday a great one. o Responsible for the constant supervision, safety and well-being of the children o Recognizes and responds to the needs of each child by using developmentally appropriate teaching and child behaviour management techniques o Shares in the responsibility for planning, preparing and implementing stimulating, age-appropriate activities that encourage creativity and learning (Reggio) o Participates fully and consistently as a conscientious team member in caring for the children and maintains open communication with all co-workers o Establishes and maintains regular communication with parents o Always goes above and beyond for the children and parents Education and Qualifications: o Diploma in Early Childhood Education (If available) o Experience working with children o Well-developed interpersonal, and relationship building skills; ability to establish rapport and excellent communication with children, staff, and parents o Valid Standard First Aid and CPR-C certification o Up-to-date health form filled out with Ministry required immunizations / double COVID vaccination o Criminal background check (VSS) Location: Broadview and Gerrard (Bridgepoint Hospital Site) Hours Per Week: Approximately 30-40 hours per week (Full-time with no split shifts) Equal Opportunity Employer We are an equal opportunity employer committed to inclusive, barrier-free recruitment and selection processes and work environment.
