Early Childhood Educator Job in Covington, Kentucky

Attend ARC meetings Work collaboratively with school districts Conduct and/or oversee the completion of RTI Utilize and implement effective teaching practices in the classroom Implement IEP/IFSP goals in the classroom Mentor/train new teachers, as needed Conduct assessments and screenings Support the fidelity of Creative Curriculum and Conscious Discipline in the classroom Conduct classroom observations Prepare learning activities and materials Create lesson plans Compile and maintain observations, documentation, and evaluation of each child’s growth and development for the purpose of planning activities to suit individual needs Enter data into the data tracking system Conduct parent/teacher conferences and/or home visits, as needed Achieve and maintain CLASS reliability Achieve and maintain Kentucky Trainer certification and conduct training, as needed Participate in the development of the education and/or special services plan for the individual child Must assume additional responsibilities when necessary, such as bus monitoring, classroom coverage, etc. Provide activities and guidance for volunteers and encourage parent participation Assure compliance with all program and grant requirements
