Early Childhood Educator Job in Bond Head, Ontario

I'm Melisa, an employer in Bond Head, Ontario looking for an experienced Registered Early Childhood Educator Supervisor to join my team! As the Supervisor, you will be responsible for: Leading, teaching, and mentoring a team of child care professionals. You will be responsible for establishing and maintaining positive relationships with parents, children, and staff. - Develop and implement educational programs and activities for children in the child care centre. - Oversee the day to day operations of the centre, including staff management, scheduling, and budgeting. - ensure compliance with all licensing and regulatory requirements. - maintain a safe and nurturing environment for children, following health and safety protocols. - collaborate with parents to address any concerns or issues related to their child’s development or well-being. - conduct regular staff meetings and provide ongoing training and professional development opportunities for child care staff. - create and maintain a positive and inclusive atmosphere for the children, families and staff. - You must have excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to effectively address challenging situations. Strong problem-solving and leadership skills are a must. Requirements: - Must be registered with the CECE. - experience working with children in an educational setting. - strong knowledge of child development principals and best practice in early childhood education. - excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and staff. - ability to lead and motivate a team of child care professionals. - knowledge of licensing regulations and compliance requirements for child care centres. - CPR and First Aid certification (or willing to obtain). - Obtained certifications in Education with a concentration in child development or Early Childhood Education related field.
