Playcare is hiring 1 Dynamic ECE or ASSISTANT to its team ECE RATE NEGOTIABLE ECA RATE STARTING AT $18 but we guarantee your hours (GREAT work life balance!! PAID AND LOTS OF TIME OFF) We require the staff to be a good team player and have a love for children. (toddler experience an asset) We also "prefer" the candidate to have experience in a licenced CHILDCARE setting. This is a great job in a centre that has a great working environment. SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE Diploma or degree in Early Childhood Education (or approved equivalency) from a recognized college or university or EXPERIENCE A recent Police Vulnerable Sector Check Health assessment and record of immunization, as outlined by legislation. Up-to-date certification in CPR-C and Standard First Aid (training provided upon selection if required). Ability to communicate effectively and establish appropriate relationships with families, caregivers and other professionals. Ability to remain calm under pressure and maintain professional disposition. Have the physical and emotional stamina to supervise children in a variety of settings including outdoor public spaces.
