*Candidates must have their Registered Early Child Educator number in good standing from the College of Early Child Educators* Are you passionate Registered Early Child Educator who loves working with young children and fostering their development and learning? Do you have an understanding of the Montessori method and its principles? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as either a full-time Infant or Pre Casa RECE. As a Registered Early Child Educator, you will be responsible for creating a stimulating and nurturing environment where children can explore, learn and grow. You will use the Montessori method to guide children through a variety of activities that promote independence, problem-solving, and critical thinking. Your role will involve working either with preschool children aged 3.5 to 4.5 or infant, helping them to develop a strong foundation in language, math, science, social studies, and cultural studies. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: • Creating a welcoming, inclusive, and safe classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and independence • Planning and implementing a Montessori-based curriculum that meets the individual needs and interests of each child • Observing and assessing each child's progress and providing feedback to parents and colleagues • Collaborating with other teachers, parents, and administrators to support the overall goals of the school • Communicating with parents regularly to provide updates on their child's progress and discuss any concerns or questions they may have • Participating in professional development opportunities to stay up-to-date on the latest Montessori-based teaching techniques and research Qualifications: • Must have: Registered Early Child Educator number in good standing from the College of Early Child Educators • Education in Early Childhood Education • Montessori certification recognized in Canada is preferred • Experience working with infants or children aged 2.5 to 4 • Strong understanding of child development and the principles of the Montessori method • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and school administration • A passion for working with young children and a commitment to creating a nurturing and stimulating learning environment If you are an enthusiastic and dedicated teacher with a love for the Montessori method, we would love to hear from you.
