Yorktown Montessori School in North York is looking for a RECE teacher or Montessori certified teacher to teach Casa program. This is a full time position starting August 2019. [ Requirements ] - RECE : ECE Diploma with minimum 1 year experience OR - Montessori Teacher: MACTE, TMI or AMI Certified CASA Diploma - Excellent knowledge and understanding of CCEYA & ELECT - Possesses current criminal reference check, Vulnerable Sector Screening - Current first aid and CPR level C [Function] - Co-Teacher of pre-school room - Up to date with CCEYA regulation - Plan and implement short and long term lesson plans, prepare written progress reports and maintain accurate records - Self-motivated with a positive, enthusiastic, professional attitude, team player - Teaching experience with CASA program will be asset - Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to relate well to children, parents, and school personnel - Excellent written and oral communication skills
