Early Childhood Educator Job in Calgary, Alberta

We are looking for Out of School Care Playworkers/Front Line Staff for the 2023 202.... School Year. We are looking for staff for our NW locations. Do you want to work with children? Are you fun, hardworking and committed to providing the best possible play experiences for every child? Candidate Must already have a Child Development Assistant or Child Development Worker or Child Development Supervisor Certificate! We have a variety of hours available. Examples of shifts are listed below: Monday - Thursday - 7am- 9am/ 2pm -6pm - 7am -9am/ 3pm - 6pm We are looking for new members of our team who have: A sense of fun The desire to work hard A Play Focus Enthusiasm Lots of ideas and energy We have been providing before and after school care to children in Calgary, Airdrie and Cochrane with exciting and stimulating play environments since 2010. Responsibilities: Lead and support children in multi-disciplinary activities Support child-led free play in accordance with the Playwork Principles Prepare activities and activity supplies Assist children in daily life activities and transitions Provide for the supervision and safety of the children Participate in staff training and daily/weekly reflection.
