Locally owned and operated, A Child First Out of School Care, located in SE & SW Calgary, is seeking qualified, caring, organized professionals to fill a full-time position of Out of School Care Director for the 2017-201... school year in our out of school care programs servicing grades 1-6 students. Hours are flexible and programs run from Mondays - Fridays from 6:30 a.m. - 9:15 a.m. & 3:00 - 6:15 p.m. Extra hours are available on PD Days. Qualifications: Responsibilities include helping create and ensure a fun and safe learning environment that runs smoothly for children grades 1 -6. Additional responsibilities include...Accreditation paperwork, PAL, monitoring staff performance, some HR & purchasing and other administrative duties. A Child Development Worker or Supervisor Certificate (or currently working on Level 2 or 3) and current First Aid training is required as well as providing a current police criminal record check. Teaching/mentoring experience in Out of School Care and accreditation is a plus.
