Early Childhood Educator Job in Manhattan, Kansas

We are looking for a Child Care Teacher to encourage the healthy intellectual and psychological growth of the children in our facilities. You will teach and supervise them while also motivating them to use their mental capacities and exercise their imagination. Design and follow a full schedule of activities and discover suitable teaching material Balance your teaching between logical and social exercises Provide basic care and caregiving activities Use a wide range of teaching methods (stories, media, indoor or outdoor games, drawing etc) to enhance the child’s abilities Evaluate children’s performance to make sure they are on the right learning track Remain in constant communication with parents and update them on the progress of their children Observe children’s interactions and promote the spirit of concord Identify behavioral problems and determine the right course of action Collaborate with other colleagues Adhere to teaching standards and safety regulations as established by the official sources My full-time job schedule is as follows Monday- 8-5:30 Tuesday-8-5:30 Thursday-1;30-5;30 Friday-8-5:30 Certificate in KDHE approved first aid and CPR within 30 days of employment Health assessment and TB skin test must be done on KDHE required form in previous 12 month period or within 30 days of employment Must have worked in licensed daycare for at least one year, and be able to provide documentation from a previous employer (licensee) stating the following: license number, name of daycare, the date they opened, the date you started employment, the date employment ended. If you have never worked in a licensed daycare you must complete the Foundations Safety Module on KCCTO which is an 18-hour course online within 30 days of employment. Comprehensive Background Check- I will complete a comprehensive background check with KDHE which you will need to submit. You will then need to do a fingerprint background check within 30 days of employment.
