Early Childhood Educator Job in St. Albert, Alberta

You love to supervise and interact with children in a positive and compassionate manner. You are able to handle a variety of things, all at once, with a smile on your face. Happy to take on new tasks, you are a natural teacher, and happiness follows you. In this position, you will supervise a designated area, and will float to other rooms when staff are away as necessary. You get a kick out of getting to know each child and look forward to seeing them every day. You will perform a variety of tasks such as dressing, feeding, and supervising play time. You build relationships with families and are approachable. Positive yet patient; you ensure every child’s needs are met. Qualifications: Positive demeanour with a passion for childcare. You have 2 years work experience within a daycare or a related field. Early Childhood Education diploma or degree (Level 3 certification). Preference will be given to individuals with preschool teaching experience. Management Experience is a bonus, not a requirement. First aid certification, and up to date immunizations including COVID 19 are also required. This position will also require vulnerable sector check and criminal record check prior to start date.
