The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing creative, stimulating programming that focuses on meeting the unique developmental needs and interest of every child. We are looking for an RECE who is passionate about working with children and is interested in growing professionally in a highly progressive field. - Ensures that all policies and procedures and mandates are being met at all times. - Responsive to children's developmental needs. - Is adaptable and flexible to dynamic environments. - Understands how to plan and implement play-based, child-led programming. - Provides on going communication to the parents regarding their children's progress. - Ensures the physical and emotional safety of children. - Works collaboratively with teachers and supervisors to plan, develop and implement daily activities that support and promote all areas of healthy child development. - Facilitates diverse and inclusive programming. - Conducts ongoing observations and assessments of groups and individuals and is implement findings accordingly. - Completes necessary reports and documentation. - Attends staff meetings, professional development opportunities, trainings and evaluations. - Develops and implements diverse daily programming that is based on group's interests and needs including; - Independent skills - Sensory based experiences - Appropriate cultural based programming - Numerical and literacy skills - Language development - Social emotional development - Music and movement - Gross motor play - Outdoor play - Strong communication skills.
