Early Childhood Educator Job in Richmond, Texas

Assistant Teacher/Floater Part Time and Full Time Teacher Assistants Kiddie Academy of Richmond is seeking teaching assistants that are dependable, hardworking, nurturing and patient to work with varying ages of children from infants to 12 years old. You will have the opportunity to teach children in an environment that focuses on the individual care of each child. You will provide stimulation through play and educational programs, social interaction, exploration through indoor/outdoor free-play, established curriculum, music, art and imagination play. You will work to achieve the highest potential in each child, insure the safety of children and to create a warm loving environment in the classroom. Candidates must: Be able to work in between 6:00am- 6:30pm Monday through Friday (extra hours as needed) Be confident, understanding and able to communicate with parents. Be able to lift up to 40 pounds Have or be willing to obtain current CPR and First Aid Certification prior to employment Be willing to submit to a background check and FBI fingerprinting prior to employment Preference will be given to candidates with 2 or more years of experience working in a licensed childcare environment.
