Position Overview: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Educator to join our team, working in our Jr. Preschool Room with three year old children. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of the Reggio Emilia approach and be skilled in implementing an emergent curriculum that caters to the unique needs and interests of each child. We have an amazing close knit team of educators and are a smaller private daycare with low staff turnover. Hiring the right candidate for our positive and fun work environment is imperative and if you are short listed, you will be asked to do a "working interview" for a small timeframe to ensure we are a good fit for each other! Key Responsibilities: Plan and implement daily activities based on children's interests and needs. Create a stimulating and safe environment that encourages exploration and creativity. Document children's learning experiences through observations, photos, and anecdotal records. Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to learning. Communicate effectively with parents about their child's progress and daily experiences. Attend professional development workshops and stay updated with the latest in early childhood education. Qualifications: Degree or diploma in Early Childhood Education or related field. Experience working in a Reggio-inspired setting is an asset. Strong understanding of emergent curriculum.
