Early Childhood Educator Job in Calgary, Alberta

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Educator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children which fosters their development through engaging educational activities. You will play a crucial role in shaping the early learning experiences of children, ensuring they feel safe, valued, and inspired to explore their world. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards. Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages children to express themselves. Utilize effective organizational and time management skills to maintain classroom order and ensure smooth daily operations. Educate children on fundamental concepts through interactive play, storytelling, and hands-on activities. Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians as necessary. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational experience and share best practices. Support children with special education needs by adapting teaching methods as required. Foster bilingual communication skills in students, particularly if you possess proficiency in additional languages such as French. Lead classroom activities that promote social skills, emotional development, and cognitive growth. Experience A degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred. Previous experience in childcare or early childhood education settings is highly desirable. Strong leadership abilities to guide young learners effectively.
