We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Montessori guides/teachers to join our team and support the growth and development of young learners. Position Overview: The Montessori guide/teacher is responsible for creating a warm, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment where children can explore, learn, and thrive. You will guide children through their early learning journey using Montessori principles, fostering independence, respect, and a deep sense of curiosity. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and maintain a Montessori classroom that aligns with the developmental needs of children aged 19 months to 6 years. Observe and assess children’s progress, guiding them through individualized learning plans. Provide hands-on lessons and presentations using Montessori materials. Collaborate with parents, providing regular updates on their child's progress and developmental milestones. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment. Support children in developing essential life skills, including self-care, problem-solving, and positive social interactions. Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a cohesive learning community. Stay up to date with Montessori best practices and early childhood education trends. Qualifications & Requirements: Montessori certification (AMI, AMS, or MACTE-accredited training) is an asset or willing to obtain. Early Learning Child Certification Experience working with toddlers and preschool-aged children (19 months–6 years) in a Montessori environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with children, parents, and colleagues. Ability to create and maintain a calm, engaging, and structured learning environment. Current First Aid & CPR Certification (or willing to obtain). Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening (required prior to employment).
