Early Childhood Educator Job in Pickering, Ontario

As a RECE teacher, you play a pivotal role in shaping the minds and hearts of young learners. Your duties are multifaceted and require a wide range of skills and competencies. In your role, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming and nurturing environment that fosters curiosity, creativity, and independence. You will design and implement hands-on, experiential learning experiences that cater to the unique needs and interests of each student, allowing them to learn at their own pace and in their own way. You will provide guidance and support as your students explore the curriculum, promoting self-discovery and empowering them to take ownership of their learning. To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a wide range of skills, including exceptional communication, strong organizational skills, and a passion for teaching. You must have a deep understanding of child development and the Montessori philosophy, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with parents and colleagues. You should also be adept at adapting to the changing needs of your students and be willing to continuously learn and grow as an educator. The hours for this position can fluxuate however, they generally are from 8:15-4:30, Monday through Friday, To qualify for this role, the applicant must have an RECE and have a passion for teaching and learning.
