Competitive wages and vacation allowance Paid professional development days 50% discount on childcare Corporate discount and perks program Beautiful, Spacious & Enjoyable Work Environment KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Participate in the age appropriate environment rating scale annually Interacts with Ministry staff and other regulators around licensing requirements for inspection purposes Follows the Centre’s Quality Assurance Cycle when using program evaluation tools Provides positive social experiences Facilitates and understanding of a variety of cultures and value systems Provides a physically safe and emotionally supportive environment Implement emergency procedures Attending to the child’s physical needs Actively participates in required training sessions within Childventures curriculum and community sponsored professional development Provide age-appropriate programs to enhance the children’s cognitive, physical, social and emotional development. Prepare weekly program plans meeting all requirements of curriculum Daily observations Maintain child records QUALIFICATIONS: RECE, ECA, or CYW Diploma preferred or other equivalent education Experience in early years education We have apprentice opportunities for those currently, or soon to be, enrolled in an accredited post secondary institution, and have applied to the Ministry of Colleges and Universities MINISTRY REQUIREMENTS: 2 Step TB Updated Immunizations (Tetanus, MMR) Vulnerable Sector Check Standard First Aid & CPR Level C
