Early Childhood Educator Job in Toronto, Ontario

Create a warm, welcoming and supportive environment for children 6 months to 5 years of age. Customize program for children based on daily observations Establish and maintain a healthy relationship with children, parents and team members. Create children’s daily and weekly behavioral observations Maintain accurate and current records (attendance, cleaning schedules, accident reports, etc.) Serve daily food and snacks by following up Ontario Regulation and Guidelines (493/17) Support children in well-being routines (toileting, eating, dressing) Able to develop & plan curriculum by using various (play based, emergent curriculum, observational etc.) approaches Adherence to the policies and guidelines set out in the Child Care and Early Years Act, 2014, Toronto Public Health, and Toronto Children’s Services Assessment for Quality Improvement (AQI).
