Early Childhood Educator Job in Scarborough, Ontario

You Can: Plan, develop and implement programs that reflect children's interest and respond to diverse individual and cultural needs. You have: the ability to plan and implement exciting, challenging and diverse activities while also adhering to the physical distancing policies and procedures re: COVID-19 You Must Be Able to: Observe and assess children's progress and behavior to ensure the programs meet the individual needs of each child and group needs You Must: Demonstrate empathy, sensitivity and support to the family unit You Must: Support, comfort and encourage children who are experiencing difficulties and help them to understand and handle their feelings You Can: Guide and assist children in the development of independent eating, dressing and toileting habits You will: Participate in regular virtual staff meetings, virtual training and related activities both internal and External including the performance appraisal You Are: a respectful communicator with children, parents, colleagues, teachers, managers, students and volunteers You Have: Sound knowledge of Emergent curriculum and the ability to plan and implement a daily program
