We are a Not-For-Profit Child-Care Centre offering care to 24 months to 12 years old. The Centre is based in North York open since 1985 located in a TDSB school serving the community with a strong sense quality and dedication. We believe Children deserve the ABSOLUTE BEST!
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR! (Please read thoroughly)
RECEs that have made a commitment to the implementation of quality care. We are looking for RECEs that are serious about their career in the Early Childhood Field and have dedicated themselves to growing and evolving as Early Childhood Educators. We require RECEs with experience working in a Toronto based Not for Profit Centre and who have implemented programs using the Assurance Quality Improvement (AQI) and How Does Learning Happen (HDLH). Our Centre is extremely unique in our approach to meeting the individual needs of each child therefore, we require RECEs that are committed to the execution of proper documentation and observation taking.
To be a successful team member you would possess the following traits and skill sets:
Dedicated, Problem solver, Excellent classroom management skills, Excellent behavior management, Stellar Documentation/Observation Skills, Professional Integrity, Fantastic team player ,Excellent written and verbal communication skills, Extensive knowledge running an effective Toddler/Preschool, Kindergarten or School age Classroom, Able to meet deadlines.
Salary: $24-$26

Shifts:Full-time and Part time hours based on the position and the needs of the Centre
Candidates will only be considered if the following requirements are met:

ECE Diploma and CECE registration
Minimum of three (3) years of demonstrated proficiency in child care standards of practice in a licensed child care setting
MUST have great Knowledge of the AQI, HDLH and CCEYA
Experience running a classroom using the AQI, HDLH and CCEYA
Promotes ethical practices of the CCEYA and AQI
Must have steller behavior management skills
Above average ability to work independently, multi-task, time management, and organizational skills
Excellent communication skills (verbal/written)
Anticipates and is responsive and responsible to address issues and concerns at work
Flexible, patient, professional, prompt and reliable attendance at work
Creative, enthusiastic, neat and appropriate personal appearance and attire
Updated Vulnerable Sector Screening
Updated First Aid and CPR Certificate
