Position We require an RECE to join our professional team of early childhood educators as a RECE in our Preschool Programof 16 children ages 2-3.8 years old and in our Kindergarten program of 26 children ages 3.8-5 years old. This RECE MUST have the following qualities: * Friendly and courteous *Sharp/ On the ball/ Think fast on your feet *Able to work in a fast paced environment *Problem Solver *Keen knowledge of running an effective Preschool/Kindergarten room *Have excellent Classroom management skills *Have excellent behavior management skills *Can work effectively with team members *Can independently make proper rapport with families *Bubbly, Energetic, Sense of humor *Can properly plan ahead *Stellar Documentation/Observation Skills *Committed to the consistent growth of the program *Dedicated to quality care *Strong desire to achieve excellence * Able to successful implement all requirements of AQI and CCEYA effectively in the Program *Able to communicate effectively/ professionally verbally and written The Early Childhood Educator is responsible to provide a safe, caring and developmentally appropriate early learning environment for a class of children ranging from 24 months to twelve (12) years. The incumbent will use Centre philosophy, programs and policies to maintain and enhance the Centre’s reputation for excellence. We are an inclusive center and this position may be responsible to work with children with special needs. This role requires a team oriented approach to work complemented by strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to form collaborative relationships with children, families, peers and community resources.
