-office admin maternity leave (dates to be determined)
-ECA summer contracts
-RECE summer contracts
-The summer contracts have the potential to turn into full-time positions in September.
What will make you stand out as an RECE or ECA candidate for our centre:
-be responsible for the emotional, physical, and developmental well being of the children in your care
-passion for inclusive education,
-you are reliable,
-your approach with children and parents is engaging and warm,
-you are familiar with AQI and HDLH principles, as well as the CCEYA requirements,
-fluent in English (verbal and written)
-Specific to the Office Administrator role:
The daycare office administrator is a self directed and proactive role responsible for various day-to-day tasks at the daycare. The successful candidate should be detail oriented, trustworthy, and should have exceptional time-management and organizational skills. As an office administrator your role will be to:
-follow-up on all messages, inquiries, referrals and callbacks
-respond to routine emails
-maintain the centre waitlist
-process incoming mail and packages
-submit program attendance on CSIS
-carry out bank deposits
-maintain children's files
-plan and carry out transitions between programs
-give centre tours to prospective families
-be a liaison between families and the chef regarding food allergies
-create a monthly news letter to families
-be computer literate
-be a Registered Early Childhood Educator
