Early Childhood Educator Job in Austin, Texas

Sammy's House Child Development Center serves children who are medically fragile, developmentally delayed, and their typically developing peers ages 0-8 years. Sammy's House is seeking an IMMEDIATE, FULL-TIME early childhood instructor (Toddler/Preschool) to implement, differentiate and creatively adapt curriculum, provide direct instruction and provide individualized supports for all children in care. Training and/or experience with inclusion and behavior management strategies is highly preferred. The candidate must be able to work Monday-Friday. * Must be able to lift 40 lbs. * Minimum of 4 years college and/or experience with young children (combination of both ok) * Desire to work with children who have special needs * Must have inclusion experience and/or willingness to learn about the inclusion model *Sammy's House does NOT discriminate against age, gender, race, and religion. *Hourly wage between $11-13 based upon experience and education.
