Early Childhood Educator Job in Brant, Ontario

*Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities and programs for children aged 0-6 years old *Create a safe and nurturing environment that supports children's physical, emotional, and social needs *Observe and document children's progress and provide regular updates to parents and caregivers *Collaborate with colleagues and other professionals to develop and implement individualized plans for children with diverse learning and/or physical needs *Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment that supports children's learning and play *Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities as required *Adhere to all relevant policies and procedures, including those related to health and safety, licensing regulations and privacy *Early Childhood Education Diploma *Registered and in good standings with the College of Early Childhood Educators(for candidates with their Early Childhood Diploma) OR currently enrolled in ECE with completion of at least half of the required program *Documentation in accordance with the MOE licensing requirements Additional Information * Wage is determined based on experience. There is an additional $2/ hour added onto the wage offered, provided by the Wage Enhancement Grant. RECE's are also eligible for the additional $1 per hour from CWELCC. *Number of hours per week approximately 37.5 to 40. *Full time candidates are eligible for sole benefits after their three month probationary period is complete.
