In this position you will need to provide positive and nurturing care for the children in your group; provide effective communication with children, parents and fellow staff members; lead daily activities to achieve a balance of structure-free activities that will facilitate emotional, social, physical and intellectual development. What we need/What we are asking for: • Current BC Early Childhood Educator (ECE) and/or Infant/Toddler Certificate • Valid Infant CPR and First Aid Certificate • Up-to-date Record of Immunizations • Clear Criminal Record Check, including a vulnerable sector search • Previous experience working with children in a childcare/recreation setting • Capable of pushing or lifting up to 45 lbs • Two Professional References • French or Spanish speaking considered an asset.
