Expanding Imaginations Child Care is an ECE owned and operated child care program that prides itself on being dynamic, inclusive, and child focused. We are looking for an experienced and passionate early childhood educator to lead our Infant and Toddler Program. We believe in attachment-based practices with the children in our care, using co-regulation to help children calm down, and to build long lasting and trusting relationships with families. We are and emergent curriculum, FLIGHT-focused program, and we are recent alumni in the GRIT/ASaP program. We are inclusive to all children and families, and support each other to ensure each child's success. We work together as a team to make sure that children have a great place to learn and spend their days. We have a leadership team that works collaboratively with educators to build responsive environments that are unique to the children in the room. Children are our top priority and we know that we are only as good as our educators. We respect ECE's and the challenging job they do. You must also: Have a clear criminal record and vulnerable sector search less than 6 months old and valid first aid certification Be comfortable communicating professionally and empathetically (verbal and written) with parents and co-workers Be able to use computer software, as we utilize Timesavr, HiMama, HomeBase, and Storypark Have knowledge of FLIGHT Curriculum Framework Show readiness to incorporate the pyramid model through the GRIT/ASaP program Compensation: $17 - $19 hourly before wage enhancement Paid programming time Health/dental benefits Starting at 10 paid vacation days each year Six paid sick days each year Treats in the staff room on a regular basis :) Application Process: 1.
