Early Childhood Educator Job in Mississauga, Ontario

Hello RECE’s and OCT's, We are looking for someone to work with our Preschool & Kindergarten program. Successful candidates must be able to work between the hours of 7:00- 6:00 P.M, Monday to Friday along with special after-hour events throughout the summer; once Covid-19 'social gatherings restrictions' are lifted. The position is Monday to Friday and Full Time Shift. We are looking for the flexible candidate to be energetic, extremely clean & organized as well have the ability to work independently and loves to stay in shape. The position could become a permanent position; only serious educators will be offered the permanent position. No phone calls are accepted regarding the position. 1. Strong knowledge of child development 2. Be competent in developing age-appropriate learning experiences 3. Demonstrate strong skills in communication and engagement 4. Thorough understanding of licensing standards 5. Must be able to work between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM 6. Minimum 2 years being EMPLOYED in a license childcare centre. 7. Be a positive role model to our students. 8. Maintain a biased free classroom, have the ability to handle difficult conversations and questions which may arise for children exposed to the media, facilitate growth and independent critical thinking as to a way to cope with the current social climate. 9. Have the ability to promote self confidence and self awareness. ** We are a Peanut free facility however we do serve Almonds. Qualifications; diploma/degree in Early Childhood Education registered number with the College of RECE's CPR-C and First-Aid valid criminal reference check CCEYA self-test certificate of completion intention of obtaining Food Handler certification within months of employment (online course)
