Early Childhood Educator Job in Toronto, Ontario

We are currently looking for an RECE who can come in and foster the growth of the children in a positive manner in our Preschool program! Our Preschool program has 16 children and 2 team members. To tell you a little bit about Bumble Bee Academy! We are a Licensed Childcare centre in the Upper Beaches area in Toronto. We are a licensed childcare centre through the ministry of Education but we are not mandated to follow the AQI requirements by the city of Toronto. At Bumble Bee Academy, we believe children are capable and competent beings who deserve as many learning opportunities as possible ranging from structured learning activities, free play, individual quiet time, social interactions, and even learning to cope with boredom. We believe that children learn best when they are engaged, feel a sense of belonging, able to express themselves and are healthy and well. We create an open environment to foster the natural curiosities and capabilities of children so they may reach great potentials. How Does Learning Happen? is an Ontario pedagogical framework guiding our goals to achieving this open environment. Bumble Bee Academy’s program is structured to be a positive and rewarding experience that will assist children to develop a sense of belonging, independence, self-esteem, and expression. Staff will foster each child’s growth and individuality while encouraging group participation in daily activities from discovery play to exploration, or quiet time to outdoor play.
