Early Childhood Educator Job in Greensburg, Pennsylvania

Seeking energetic, optimistic, loving individuals in Infant, Toddler, Preschool and School Age classrooms. Teachers must assist with all the day to day duties. Reinforce daily routines and structure within each classroom while ensuring that each child is valued and respected. Days filled with laughing, singing, dancing, playing, reading, smiling and having fun are essential. As educators we must make the most of each teachable moment and help every student reach their full potential. It is necessary to promote independence by assisting with toilet training, personal hygiene, manners, and eagerness to learn. Responsibilities entail all necessary cleaning including washing dishes, mopping floors, cleaning restrooms and disinfecting toys each day. Must be flexible and willing to adapt to all situations in each classroom. Work as a team member and communicate with other teachers, students, and parents. Must have experience with children of all ages and ability to entertain each age group. It is preferred to have previous education classes in early childhood and willingness to further education. Face to face and online trainings are required each year. PA State Police Clearance, FBI Clearance and Child Abuse Clearances are required along with a physical and TB shot within the past year. EOE
