I studied Music Composition at UofT where Piano was my primary instrument. Back then, I gradually became more focused on Music Theory and other academic subjects (please find my resume attached) and after working in Music Psychology and Music Software, as well as in a number of educational roles, for the past few years I've increasingly specialised in my own approach to free improvisation which is based, not in jazz theory, but in renaissance counterpoint, figured bass, and post-tonal theory. In addition to public performances, I currently host an informal concert series and an experimental improvisation group at my home in Kensington Market. I teach all ages.
