Early Childhood Educator in Windsor, Ontario

To Whom It May Concern, My name is Natalia Maynar Moses. My mother tongue is English and I have a Higher Diploma in Junior Primary Education which I obtained in 1997, it is equivalent to a Bachelor’s Degree. My teaching experience in South Africa has included (reception year) Pre- Primary (5 and 6 yrs. old) and also grades 1, 2, and 3, where the medium of instruction was English. I was also in a Learning Support position for two years which required me to plan programs for various barriers to learning. My intervention included liaising with schools for special needs and also meetings with parents. When I was in the capacity of Learning Support Educator my intervention was for grade 1 – grade 6 learners. I have taught in Abu Dhabi for eight years. At Al Nahda National Schools, 2005 to 2007, I had experience teaching Kindergarten students (4 and 5 year olds) English as a second language. Other subjects I also taught were Mathematics and Science for two KG classes. Each class had 27 students with a teacher assistant. At Emirates National School, 2007 to 2011, I was a homeroom teacher for Grade 1. I have gained experience with the Primary Years Program and have implemented it with my planning and teaching methods. At Glenelg, I was a homeroom teacher for Grade 1. I was also Co-ordinator for KG1 to Grade 3 at International Community School, 2011-201.... It was a fulfilling experience as I have gained different skills in a managerial position. My teaching experience involved different assessment strategies as well as Curriculum (British and American) and resources (Harcourt, Singapore Maths, Everyday Math, MacMillan) and with each new environment I have learned to adapt to new systems and barriers to learning within the culture and classroom. I am currently at the British International Preparatory School in Johannesburg since January 2014. I would like to apply my skills at a different learning institution and I would appreciate it very much if you consider me for any teaching opportunity that may arise at your school .
