Early Childhood Educator in Scarborough, Ontario

I am a graduate of the Early Childhood Education program at Centennial College and I have worked as a student intern at variety of Daycare Centres. I communicated professionally with children, families, colleagues and the community to build positive relationship. At Daycare, I have set up and maintained a safe learning environment by planning curriculum, and learning opportunities for children that promotes inclusion, through play, exploration while maintaining the well-being of the children. Moreover, my teaching philosophy connects to the Child Care Learning Centre Program Statement, Reggio Emilia Approach, which has allowed me to apply my skills of Emergent Curriculum. Throughout my schooling and internship, I have collaborated with classmates on assignment projects and with colleagues to meet the best needs of the children. In addition, I will bring my current skills and knowledge and incorporate it with Child Care Learning Centre philosophy to continue to build and promoting a safe and healthy environment that will benefit children, families and the community.
