Early Childhood Educator in North York, Ontario

I will provide individual attention to each child taking into account their age, learning style and capabilities. I will plan, prepare and implement stimulating, age-appropriate activities that encourage children’s creativity and learning and promote each child’s social, emotional, cognitive and physical development. I will ensure supervision, safety and well-being of children. I will establish and maintain regular communication with parents. I will observe and record relevant information on each child's progress as required. I will engage in positive collaboration with the other programs and early childhood educators of the centre in coordinating the effective use of equipment, facilities and personnel. I will assist the Centre Supervisor in maintaining a safe and healthy work environment by promptly reporting any existing and/or potential workplace hazards.
