Early Childhood Educator in Markham, Ontario

A passionate Early Childhood Educator who loves children and believes in providing high-quality inclusive learning experiences to children that promotes their overall development. I have completed the Early Childhood Education program from Mohawk College, Hamilton, in April 2021. Further, I have a bachelor’s in Education (B Ed) from Paro College of Education, Royal University of Bhutan, and served as a teacher in different schools of diverse socio-economic community background, families, children for 13 years (5-14 years). I taught English and other primary curricula to non-English speaking communities and want to continue supporting children to make the ultimate, vibrant, and productive generation. As an early childhood educator and teacher, I have a good understanding of child development, planning lessons, designing teaching-learning materials, activities and working together as a team, and implementing the plans, and coordinating programs that foster wholesome learning in children. I have a deep interest in abreast new learning and exploring potential and relevant ideas that leverage professional development pertaining to children, families, their learning, and the community. Understanding the need to possess a technology sound mind, I keep myself tuned to evolving technological mindset and skills. Further, I am a very punctual, reliable, trustworthy, friendly, cooperative, and organized person with a high sense of integrity and diligence. I believe and encourage being creative, uniquely. Through Mohawk College, I have had three practicums that gave me opportunities to experience both virtual and in-person learning experiences with the children, families, staff, and organizations.
