Early Childhood Educator in Scarborough, Ontario

I have extensive experience working with children. Recently, I had the opportunity to be a placement student at Malvern Family Resource Centre. In that placement I was able to facilitate the after school program held at Heritage Park elementary school. I had teach the children about how they can better cope with stress, bullying, peer pressure etc. I was also able to do some event planning for P.A days at the centre, this required that I find dance instructors, magicians, or plan outings to museums such as the Rom or the AGO. I was also able to develop a curriculum for the children that was in line with the requirements of the Ministry of Education, which was a great way to gauge student learning. My resume will provide with a much more detailed description of my experience in working with children. I was a nanny for a child who had cerebral palsy. This job required me to feed her, bathe her, and change her diapers. I also had to take her to school and accompany her to doctors appointments. I also was a placement student as Pearson Collegiate Institute which allowed me to teach and supervise students with developmental disabilities.
