I have experience working with children in several age groups and I offer an excellent track record of planning age-appropriate curriculum in reflection of children’s interests and needs in a play based environment. I understand the relationship between successful educational programming and effective team work and I strive to foster collaboration with the classroom teacher, children and community at large. As a result I have received recognition from my supervisors, team members, and parents for positively contributing to the well being and development of each and every child that I work with. I want to also note that I have extensive knowledge and patience with children’s with exceptionalities as I continue to care for my sister who is a quadriplegic and took a special needs course in college.
