Early childhood educator in Banff, Alberta

During my studies in Childhood Education I was working as a babysitter for children from three to twelve years old. My duties involved different aspects of taking care of children during the day, organizing outdoor activities, playing games and making crafts with them.\r\n\r\nI am a creative and caring person who loves learning hands-on. I believe in mutual learning through interactive games and especially enjoy outdoor activities with small children because of their inexhaustible energy and endless curiosity.
Additionally I\'ve completed an internship at CEPIM, an Italian association specialized in working with youth affected by Down Syndrom, Fragile X and Autism. Initially I found it difficult working with children who have these disorders because it was taking a lot of mental energy. Over time it became a great experience and I learned a lot about human relations and personal growth. Throughout the program I was supporting the teachers and social care workers. We did exercises such as Psycho-motility and creative laboratories that included painting, crafting and dancing. It was rewarding to have the opportunity to help children and teenagers empower themselves with the support of their families and a caring and professional team.
