Early Childhood Educator in Calgary, Alberta

Hello, my name is Brianna Moss. I was raised in a small town where I particpated in many sports, music, drama and many more extracurricular activities that have shaped who I am today. I enjoyed having all the opportunities and just wish for all the children behind me experience the same thing I did. I have always engaged with younger children whether it was babysitting, being with my family or helping out in elementary classes when needed. Over the past 10 months I had the wonderful opportunity being a teachers assistant at a Hutterite Colony where I taught all core subjects but mostly taught English to the younger children. I also organized games for Gym which the kids really enjoyed. This past summer I ran a summer reading program which included planning of games, crafts and reading books to one another. I tried my best to incorporate fun ways to read which included reading theatres through acting or reading theatre with sock puppets they hand crafted themselves. I love working with kids even though as we all know, kids can be frustrating but with all the struggles there is one thing I enjoyed the most. Seeing the light bulb go off in their small heads was such a satisfying feeling as a teacher.
